Backyard Voyager
Because of Jupiter's rapid rotation many people feel it is a good idea to keep captures to two minutes or less to avoid blurring of features. Most of these images were captured at 5 frames per second, meaning that, after eliminating the worst frames, I was usually left with 400 to 500 to stack. To eliminate noise, more images are usually required. Others have obviously solved the problem, so I just need to work on it a little more. Fortunately Jupiter always comes back next year.
