Flocking eliminates most of the stray light within the optical path in your telescopes tube. It can be done with paper, cloth or highly non-reflective paint. Flocking a Newtonian reflector is relatively simple. A Schmidt-Cassegrain, with its corrector plate, is considerably more difficult. Here Gregory Wuestenhagen takes us through an illustrated step-by-step process of flocking an 11 inch Celestron SCT.
